- 240g Pork Mince
- Italian Style Herbs
- 15g Worcester Sauce
- 28g Red Wine Stock Paste
- 40g Grated Hard Italian Style Cheese
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 500g Gnocchi
- 1 Carton of Finely Chopped Tomatoes with Onion and Garlic
- 100g Baby Spinach
- 50ml Water for the Sauce
Instructions
Step 1: Brown the Pork
Start by bringing a large saucepan of water to the boil over high heat, adding 1/4 tsp of salt. In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of oil on high heat and add the pork. Cook the pork until it’s browned, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Break up the pork with a spoon as it cooks. Once cooked, drain and discard any excess fat.
IMPORTANT: Remember to wash your hands after handling raw meat. The pork is cooked when it’s no longer pink in the middle.
While the pork is cooking, peel and grate the garlic (or use a garlic press). Add the garlic to the pork and sprinkle over the Italian herbs. Continue to cook, stirring, for another minute.
Step 2: Prepare the Gnocchi
Add the gnocchi to the boiling water and simmer until they float to the top, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Drain the gnocchi well in a colander, then return them to the pan, drizzle with oil, and stir to prevent them from sticking together.

TIP: If the sauce gets too thick, add a splash more water.
